Family:
Our 5 (five)(FIVE!) children are somewhat distributed around the United States.
- Jonathan lives with his wife Mary Margaret in Berkeley, CA, where they work at the University of California, Berkeley, in the electrical engineering department.
- Daniel lives with his wife Rita in Charleston, SC, where he teaches history in a local high school. Rita is doing her residency in pediatrics in Charleston. Daniel and Rita are pros at DDR, and got married in June, 2006.
- Gabe lives with his wife Jennifer in Nashville, TN. Gabe and Jen lived for awhile in North Georgia, and they met while working for the O'Charleys in Ft. Oglethorpe, where Ken used to be pastor (not at O'Charleys...Ft. Oglethorpe UMC).
- Arielle lives with her husband Robert Brents in Kingsport, TN. She and Robert own and manage Brents Rental Properties in Kingsport, TN.
- Joel goes to Powell Vally High School (pronounced "pal valley"), in Big Stone Gap, VA, where he is a Senior. He plays in a band, and enjoys skateboarding and long walks on the beach. Joel is not engaged or married.
Basic Information:
We live in East Stone Gap, VA, where Ken Sprinkle is pastor of the East Stone Gap & Legion Memorial United Methodist Churches.Teresa Sprinkle is a school teacher at a new school in VA.
Background:
We are originally from Knoxville, TN, and we both attended Emory & Henry College, from which we graduated in 1972. Ken went on to Asbury Theological Seminary and eventually graduated with his D.Min. from Trinity Evangelical (now University) in Deerfield, IL. Teresa graduated with her Masters in Education from the Old Dominion University in 2005.
