We finished up our time in Italy with a day trip to the Cinque Terre (five towns along the western coast, just below Genova) as well as a final day of sightseeing in Rome. After all, when we showed up with jet-lag, we weren't that capable of deciding what we wanted to see, so we thought about it for a week, and finished up with walking tours of the ruins and palaces, followed by the obligatory Pantheon, Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, and (of course) Hard Rock Cafe.
